The Kissing Conundrum

What to do?  Being married has lot’s of problems.  One of which is this, when you have a cold, do you still kiss your wife goodbye in the morning as you leave for work?  If you don’t, you never know if you’ll get in a fatal accident and never have kissed her goodbye!  On the other hand, if you kissed her, she might have a nasty cold for the funeral!!

Argh!!  What to do!!!!  Now I know why all single people smile all the time!

Just kiss her cheek. That's still good, and that's what we do whenever one of us has a cold.

Sharing colds is part of being married! In sickness and in health...oh, and misery loves company!

Thanks for commenting on my blog. I keep up with you and Aimee and I really enjoy reading about your family.

I'm glad to know other churches still practice feet washing! We had communion during the morning service on Easter and feet washing during the evening service. My pastor's wife washed my feet (and I washed hers) and it was such a wonderful blessing!

God bless you and your family!

We kiss on cheeks as well.

IRYC--My new book is basically a reprint of the original Ordinary Days. Five of the 30 chapters are different...so it's probably not worth buying the book just to read those 5 chapters!

Plant a big-un. The cold is worth it!

Oh yeah Japheth -- life's tough!

Man, Japheth, did you die from that cold? I've been reading "The Kissing Conundrum" when I check your blog for weeks and weeks now! That's okay. I know you're a very, very busy husband, father, and business man. I hope you're doing okay.

Hah ha Aunt Jeanie

The kiss of death hasn't got me yet!!

It's just been crazy these days and not alot of time for posting. I actually got my first game of golf in for this year. So far, since we started having children, I have averaged once a year. It's the rare time that I still get for myself and Daddy and I thourghly enjoy it!!

I'm not even going to let Dick see your comment. He will be SOO jealous. He hasn't been golfing for years and he always enjoyed it so much. I'll have to see what I can do about that. If a father of five can still golf at least once a year, surely a grandfather of one (living with us) should be able to, right??
